Emmerdale fans have worked out how Caleb and Nicky Miligan will have their secret exposed after spotting a clue.
On the ITV soap, tensions are rising between the pair as Nicky has reconnected with Ally, who he's clearly quite smitten with. He still has to keep the guise that he wants to marry Gabby Thomas, but viewers know it's all a sham and he actually is in love with someone else. His fling with Ally is continuing to blossom and during a recent episode, he was seen getting a text from Ally.
The raunchy text left him distracted and as he made his way to the shop, he nearly bumped into Caleb, who was coming out of the same door and the pair nearly slammed into one another.
He quickly apologised, saying "sorry dad", before Caleb shot him a look as a woman had just walked behind them.
Fans are now convinced this is how their secret will be exposed - with a huge slip-up from either one of them, as the residents including Kim Tate rumble their true plan and motive for getting close to the family.
One person wrote on Twitter: " #emmerdale how come Nicky has suddenly started calling Caleb ‘dad’ when he’s kept it secret so long & why does he have a geordie accent & Caleb a Manchester accent #confused."
" #Emmerdale Time! Wonder how much longer it will take for Nicky or Caleb to slip up same applies for Mackenzie and Chloe," a second mused as they reflected on what was to come for the pair.
Executive producer Jane Hudson has teased drama ahead when Kim and Cain find out all about Caleb's true motives.
Revealing what's to come in this storyline, she said: "We have revealed who Nicky is, there is still something else to find out but I'm not going to tell you. Not all the secrets have been revealed yet. There is something else we are going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past who turns up as well and we will be left wondering what this means for Gabby.
"We know they are planning a wedding so is that going to go off? Is it not? Meanwhile, how is Cain going to react when Caleb nearly sends Moira into financial ruin, which is a whole other story that's playing out. So when Cain finds out his brother is responsible, how on Earth is it gonna play out when they are trying so hard to have this relationship? Is it all going to be doomed?"
