Emmerdale fans urge David to 'tell Liam' as Leyla's drug abuse is finally found out

Emmerdale fans have once again been left shouting at the telly, as they wish for Leyla's drug addiction to be fully exposed once and for all. In tonight's episode, David walked in on Leyla chopping up lines of cocaine, leaving her desperate for him to keep her secret.

She tried to explain away her drug use, saying that the events of the last few months had taken their toll. But David was having none of it and said that he needed to see Liam, so that the pair could get her the "help she needs".

A panicked Leyla then chased David down, begging him not to tell Liam - who was already worried about Leyla's drinking habits. As David threatened to throw the cocaine in the bin, Leyla made assurances that she would give it up if only he did not revel what he knew to Liam.

But fans are not happy, as they want Liam to know the truth. @AndyGibsonTV said: "TELL LIAM, DAVID! TELL HIM NOW!" And @Pam_Debeauvoir said: "David should give Leyla an ultimatum. Either she tells Liam or he will. Jacob deserves better. She won't stop until they're identifying her in the morgue".

And some do not believe that she will really give up the drugs, either. @mrscarter22 said: "Oh come off it, she got itchy right away at the thought of David throwing it away? No way!"

@teenamassam said: "Leyla pleading, not a good look and she’s lying…" And @Domain_harry said: "leyla with 'the dog ate my homework' standard of lie".
