Emmerdale fans have been left amazed by Laurel Thomas actress Charlotte Bellamy's real age.

The actress has played Laurel Thomas in the long-running ITV soap since 2002. In that time she has been at the centre of some huge stories, including her battle with alcoholism, and the death of her much loved husband Ashley.

More recently, Laurel has staunchly defended her son Arthur, after he was bullied for being gay by his friend Marshall's father.
