Emmerdale viewers are speculating Caleb Miligan might find his secret exposed by a village resident, but it won't be Kim Tate or his secret son Nicky Miligan.
A scene on Thursday night, as the big truth came out, left viewers speculating Leyla Harding might secretly know the truth about her new lover.
Leyla and Caleb were seen getting cosy this week, as their new romance heated up.
But she was left terrified when she felt like someone was following her, while viewers knew she was being watched.
What they weren't expecting was to find out Nicky was the person seemingly stalking Leyla, as uncovered by Caleb on Thursday.
When Frank Tate's secret son Caleb confronted him, Nicky revealed he was Caleb's son and that they were working together to bring down Kim.
Nicky claimed he was following Leyla to see what she and Caleb were getting up to, after thinking Caleb was going to follow her inside the building he was waiting outside of.
Leyla had just entered the village hall when Nicky approached behind her, but remained out of sight.
Caleb saw him though and jumped out at him, leading to their showdown just outside the building.
Fans were confused though, given Leyla had sensed someone was following her before entering the building.
They believed she would have looked out the windows to scan her surroundings and then seen Nicky and Caleb together.
Not only that, but Nicky was shouting at Caleb about their plan and who he really was, so fans believe Leyla would have heard them talking.
One fan commented on social media: "I am surprised leyla didn't hear all the noise outside though as well as even glimpsed them through the windows...[sic]"
So could this mean that Leyla has overheard everything and possibly knows exactly who Nicky and Caleb are?
Others noted how Caleb suddenly seemed less interested in Leyla, so perhaps she won't figure things out after all.
