Emmerdale fans are not happy with Kerry Wyatt on the ITV soap, as she continued to swear revenge on Cain Dingle following the death of Al Chapman.
Al was killed off in brutal scenes this week after he was shot by Cain, while viewers are convinced someone else carried out the crime.
Kerry was devastated when she found her boyfriend Al's lifeless and bloodied body in the barn, with Cain stood nearby wielding a shotgun.
Following the incident, Kerry has sworn Cain will pay for what he did, happy to watch him go down for the crime - amid speculation she might be framed.
Speaking to the police on Tuesday and daughter Chloe Harris, she said Cain would get what's coming to him, and in a chat with his wife Moira, she once again said he deserved his punishment.
But her insistence that Cain would face punishment for the possible accidental death has left viewers furious.
It wasn't too long ago that Kerry herself was involved in a dark crime that led to a heartbreaking death in 2019.
Kerry and her daughter Amy were attempting to steal money from the factory when they accidentally caused a fire.
Tracy Metcalfe became trapped in the blaze, leading to her father Frank Clayton running in to save her.
But Frank ended up dying in an explosion just as he made it outside, leaving his family distraught.
Amy and Kerry covered up their crime and still have not faced punishment, with Frank's daughters Tracy and Vanessa Woodfield keeping quiet.
Now, viewers are hitting out at Kerry for her insistence that Cain must pay for causing Al's death, given she has concealed her own guilt for so long.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Writers of Emmerdale seem to have completely forgotten that Kerry + Amy killed Frank in pursuit of a robbery. They never faced justice and it is frustrating to see Kerry acting holier than thou. Come on writers, at least refer to it!"
Another said: "Kerry seems to keep forgetting she killed Frank," as a third tweeted: "Bit rich coming from you, Kerry. How did Frank die again?"
A fourth fan wrote: "Think Kerry got a short memory her actions caused Frank’s death," while another said: "Franks dead because you killed him Kerry."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
