Emmerdale fans slam Billy for making huge blunder as he gets hold of Meena's gun

Emmerdale fans have slammed Billy Fletcher for not shooting Meena Jutla when he got the chance.

The evil serial killer - played by Paige Sandhu - kidnapped Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor on their wedding day and took them to a quiet viaduct, where she threatened to play a death game with them.

Asking Billy to choose who she should kill - himself or his new bride - the trio were interrupted when Leyla Cavanagh found them and Meena quickly turned on her, shooting her and leaving her life hanging in the balance.

But now fans have slammed Billy for making a massive error and not ridding the world of Billy whilst she had the chance.

Meena has kidnapped Lucas, after taking him from Harriet, who she has appeared to have bludgeoned over the head.

In scenes airing at the end of last night's episode, Harriet was seen lying on the floor in a pool of blood, with Lucas nowhere to be seen - and still missing, leaving Dawn and Billy very panicked.

Fans took to Twitter to criticise Billy for not killing Meena, especially now he knows the full extent of her crimes.

"Billy you donkey! You had the gun! You could have at least kneecapped her! # emmerdale," one wrote.

A second added: "Billy could have shot Meena! But he threw the gun!! Now she’s off again #emmerdale," with a third sharing: "Clever move, Billy. Throw the gun away instead of taking Meena out. #Emmerdale."

ITV viewers are convinced Billy has made a huge mistake now as he didn't kill Meena when he had the chance and she's now escaped.

She has already killed four people - her friend Nadine, Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker - and attempted to murder Victoria Sugden, her own sister Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle.

Earlier today, Paige teased that it was the "beginning of the end" for Meena, as she said: "There are two peoples lives who hang in the balance, I'm sorry to say. And I can say this is the beginning of the end for Meena but there's more drama to come!"

"She's crazy she's wild she's intense, she's charismatic. I feel like I have the freedom to do whatever I want in a scene. These scenes have been some of my most favourite scenes," she added of the scenes on the viaduct.
