Emmerdale viewers rushed to praise Priya as she and close pal Leyla were left feuding after receiving the same job offer.
During Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap Priya shocked everyone as she returned to work as normal following a fire at Take A Bow, which brought back past trauma for her.
The fire brought back traumatic memories of the Maize Maze fire where Priya was burned. Talk soon turned to whether Leyla would accept a remote job offer from client Justin.

She went to speak to son Jacob about the offer and the fact she may move away but he pretended not to care and shut the door in her face.
Elsewhere Priya ran into Justin outside the HOP and she opened up to him about her past trauma and why the Take a Vow blaze triggered her so bad the day before.
Justin was impressed with Priya for opening up about invited her to have a coffee with him. Leyla decides to accept Justin’s job offer but her face drops as she speaks to him because he revealed that the position has now been filled.
She later finds out that Priya was the one who was offered the job by Justin. Priya tried to set the record straight and explain that she wasn’t aware that Justin had offered the job to Leyla.
Leyla didn’t want to hear Priya out as she accused her of purposely going behind her back to get the job. Priya refused to back down and insisted that she was going to be taking the job.
Viewers went straight to social media to praise Priya for sticking up for herself and opening up about her trauma. @RyanTheSoapking Tweeted: “Well done Priya for telling the man about your trauma. That was so brave of you #Emmerdale.”

While @griannedoherty3 added: “Totally team Priya. How the hell is Leyla immediately running away supposed to fix things with Jacob? It's just the easy option. She needs to show him she's not going anywhere no matter how hard he pushes. Priya needs this after everything she's been through, scars etc #Emmerdale.”
