Emmerdale fans have shared a number of theories after Samson Dingle's harsh speech to baby daughter Esther.
Samson Dingle was the cause of much concern after he went missing during the deadly storm that swept through the Yorkshire village. However, despite being out in the cold with no food or drink for three days, the youngster seemed right as rain once Mack and Noah found him.
A short recovery followed in a private room on the hospital ward before he was wheeled to see his daughter Esther, who had been born premature. The youngster was left alone to bond with her but instead wasted no time to reject her.

He told her: "I know they are all watching me. They think I'll take one look at you and everything will change but I don't want to be your dad and I won't let you ruin my life."
Fans were shocked by his cruel words, with many saying writers had given Samson a "personality transplant". Some are convinced his stance on fatherhood will change drastically over the next few weeks, while others believe Noah will be the one Esther calls "dad".
L wrote: "A few weeks down the line the baby will get poorly or something will happen and Samson will step up, calling it now - usual soap trope!"
Kirsty said: "@emmerdale has boiled my blood tonight! Chas playing the victim after all she's done and THEN Samson talking to baby Esther like that! I hope that baby grows up calling Noah dad at least he wants to be there!"
Nat even started a Twitter poll, asking: "#emmerdale will Samson come round to Esther?" So far, people are divided with roughly half of the voters saying "no".
Meanwhile, a few other wild theories are floating around online. Sarah Chandler tweeted: "How long until Amelia and Samson are dating?! They will end up together at some point now!"
And another viewer said: "Defo think Samson was with a mate, killed and ate him to survive and is defo now a Wendigo."
