Emmerdale fans were left screaming 'no' at their TV screens as Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle shared a fresh kiss. Viewers of the ITV soap have been begging the pair get back together after their last dalliance following the end of Paddy's marriage to Chas Dingle.
The couple were last seen getting together earlier this year before Paddy, played by Dominic Brunt, fled the village amid his struggle with depression after he discovered that Chas had planned to leave him for the now-late Al Chapman. Emmerdale viewers have since watched Paddy consider taking his own life and have been championing him finding happiness again in the village.
But during Monday night's episode (May 8), Mandy invite the vet back to her house for a spot of lunch after he had a tough day upon learning Chloe Harris' baby son Reuben was fighting for his life in hospital. The news about the baby boy, whose secret dad is Mackenzie Boyd, brought back heartbreaking memories for Paddy, whose first daughter with Chas, Grace, died when she was just hours old.

Mandy - who is still harbouring strong feelings for her former flame - encouraged Paddy back to the Dingle's home and after a spot of lunch, it wasn't long before the pair were reminiscing about their previous relationship.
It's been more than 20 years since Paddy and Mandy, played by Lisa Riley, tied the knot. But things didn't last between the pair back then as Mandy soon started an affair with her dad's carer after she left the fictional Yorkshire village for Southampton. The pair have since gone on to have several relationships between them but it is clear that some former feelings are bubbling back tot he surface.
However, despite many calls for them to get back together, Emmerdale fans have done a u-turn as they recalled what happened last time they were together.
