Emmerdale fans applauded Leyla Cavanagh as she finally admitted to partner Liam that she is an addict after suffering a tragic drug overdose.
The storyline unravelled on the Dales after the cocaine addict became entangled with dealer Callum, kickstarting a drug induced downward spiral over the last few months in Emmerdale.
Dealer Callum had previously threatened "bad things" would happen to the addict if she lost his drugs – and feeling trapped and alone, she turned to narcotics for relief, landing her in the hospital in frightening scenes.
