Emmerdale fans are speculating Caleb Miligan's true identity, amid fears he isn't really Cain Dingle's brother.
There was speculation he could be seeking revenge on Cain and the Dingles, after a mystery phone call saw him talk about reeling someone in.
But after Caleb's recent random business venture with Kim Tate, fans are starting to predict it's her that needs to watch her back, or someone linked to her.
With the identity of the caller not yet known, some names thrown into the mix included Joe Tate, Jamie Tate and even Zoe Tate - all of whom have history with Kim.
In the latest episode there was further contact with the mystery person, as Caleb continued to get to know Cain and his sister Chas Dingle.
He was seen coyly reading a text message on his phone that read: "Update?"
It didn't specify what he needed an update on but it's clear Caleb and a mystery person have a plan.
He's previously said on the phone: "We’re finally making headway. We keep reeling him in until we get exactly what we want."
The word 'him' would imply it's linked to Cain, but that hasn't stopped viewers speculating Cain or the Dingles are not actually the target.
Instead, fans are convinced Kim or the Tates are Caleb's focus, and that the person he is working with wants revenge on Kim.
So could a male character linked to Kim be the person Caleb is trying to reel in?
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "I think caleb working for zoe tate and Joe tate and get revenge on kim tate for their family and get home farm back from kim."
Another viewer said: "Caleb is definitely undercover and is working for Joe Tate I'm calling it now."
A third fan added: "New # emmerdale theory. Caleb is working with Nicky and Caleb is secretly faith and Frank Tate's son. Only reason I can think of him targeting the tates."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
