Emmerdale viewers are convinced ‘dead’ Jamie Tate will make a shock return during the soap's 50th anniversary despite Gabby Thomas' determination to keep him of her life.
During last night's episode she overheard Millie give Thomas a message from their dad Jamie, who Gabby believed to be dead, that she suspected he could be alive. Gabby confided in Dawn Taylor about what she heard, and while she didn't initially believe it she soon helped Gabby to try and find some answers.
The duo wasted no time and headed to Hazel's house, to confront her and hopefully find Jamie there. However, when they arrived Dawn broke in by smashing the window to only discover the house empty.

As they began to lose hope Gabby found his watch which had "Love Mum & Millie xxx" engraved on the back of it - it believed he was wearing it when he supposedly died. Dawn was torn on whether to tell Jamie's mother Kim about his true fate however Gabby made a major decision and refused to tell Kim even though she saw the watch.
Gabby went on to lie and claimed the watch was found behind the soap with Dawn backing her up but how long will Dawn stay quiet? Viewers are now convinced Jamie may return during the hit soaps 50th anniversary.
