Emmerdale viewers were left sobbing as Faith finally got her family day out at the ‘beach’ and a special moment with son Cain in what viewers are calling 'the best episode in a long time'.
Faith’s health has taken a devastating turn and only has a few days left to live after a terminal cancer diagnosis. She was determined to go on a beach trip with her family but was convinced it would be cancelled as she’s too weak to move around.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Faith’s family and friends secretly planned Faith’s beach surprise and transformed the village into the seaside just for her.

Faith was thrilled as she saw that everyone made all that effort for her and was even left speechless as Diane Sugden returned to the village and surprised her.
Cain asked his mother to dance and as things got emotional Faith told her son that she loved him. However Cain was overwhelmed by the sweet message and as he was about to say something he was rudely interrupted by the failing sound system and walked away.
As the day came to an end, Faith was seen sitting on a bench holding a family picture against her heart. Viewers watching at home were left “in tears” at Faith's "beautiful surprise" as they claimed to ‘work out’ Cain’s final words to his mum.
