Emmerdale fans were previously divided over Marlon Dingle actor Mark Charnock's performance but tonight (April 27) a moving scene with his daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) appeared to have won them over.
Yesterday (April 26), the episode had a warning at the beginning stating that some people may find scenes 'distressing' from Marlon 's slurred and stuttered speech. However some accused the actor of 'hamming it up for an award'.
During one upsetting scene where April became distressed after trying to give her dad some water, some viewers even slammed the little girl's acting. @themostlysilent tweeted "Talk about over acting - Marlon hamming it up no end. Overdoing the misery in an attempt to get an award.
