In tonight’s first instalment of the popular soap, fans saw the aftermath of villainous Al Chapman’s brakes being cut, following the businessman’s sneaky ploy to try and buy the Woolpack pub.
As Cain Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd pointed the finger at each other in a bid to see who to credit for the potentially dangerous feat, neither were left any the wiser after meeting with the mysterious ‘Gavin’ the brain behind the entire operation to buy the pub.
It wasn’t this revelation that caused outrage amongst fans however, but rather the unflattering portrayal of police officers elsewhere in the village.
