Emmerdale fans heartbroken as Charity loses her baby in emotional scenes

Emmerdale fans were left heartbroken for Charity and Mack as they had to terminate their baby tonight.

The pair - played by Emma Atkins and Lawrence Robb - were given the devastating news tonight that they have suffered an ectopic pregnancy. Charity seemed happy a few weeks ago to find out she was expecting, but some devastating news during tonight's show meant the pair had to bid farewell to their baby in a heartbreaking twist.

Charity suffered an ectopic pregnancy, which is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb and in Charity's case, it had implanted itself in her fallopian tube. She doubled over in pain, and realising something was wrong, they rushed to hospital.
