Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has teased more about Caleb Miligan's secret, and has ruled out one huge fan theory.
While she confirmed Caleb did have a secret that would come to light in the future, she said that so far viewers had not worked it out amid theories online.
Remaining quiet on what he is up to and what it means for his long-lost brother Cain Dingle, and the Dingles in general, Jane confessed she had enjoyed all the theories she had seen so far - but none of them are correct.
Viewers have grown suspicious of Caleb and his desperation to help Cain, amid his hopes to become a proper family with his siblings after so long apart.
But it was his recent behaviour on the phone that left fans sure he was hiding something, and was actually planning revenge on Cain.
Now, Jane has spilled that there is more to come with the plot and that Caleb is definitely harbouring a secret of some sort.
But refusing to reveal what he is hiding, she simply said that fans had yet to correctly guess what Caleb is up to - ruling out one theory altogether.
She said on Loose Women on Thursday: "I can tell you he’s not an undercover cop. There is a secret about Caleb and viewers have not yet guessed it. I've been reading all the theories about who he is like not that one, not that one."
So Caleb isn't an undercover cop, and if Jane has seen all of the theories this possibly rules out links to newcomer Nicky, as well as Jamie Tate, Joe Tate and Zoe Tate.
Viewers remain in the dark over Caleb's secret, and whether he is lying about his identity.
Some fans are no longer even sure if Caleb is who he says he is, wondering if he could be someone else pretending to be Cain and Chas' sibling.
Caleb had made a cryptic phone call to a mystery character, and he mentioned he was reeling someone in to take something from them.
He said: "We’re finally making headway. We keep reeling him in until we get exactly what we want."
The next episode saw the mystery person contact him again, asking for an update on what he was doing.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
