Emmerdale fans have hailed Paddy a "legend" this evening, as he took a stand against Chas after learning about her affair with Al. With the news finally coming out that Chas was playing away, Paddy was left shell-shocked and, for much of tonight's episode, just calmly considered his options.
But Chas' world finally came crashing down around her at the end, when Paddy revealed that not only was he going to begin divorce proceedings - but he was also going to try and get full custody of Eve. Unsurprisingly, Chas was left in tears and fans are pleased that her decisions are now catching up with her.
As she hid upstairs in the Woolpack, presumably trying to avoid the wrath of a village that knew about her affair, Chas was visited by Marlon. He asked her why she did what she did, to which she replied that she was a "hypocrite".

Realising that she had really ruined her own life, Chas added: "I had everything I could ever want, but it wasn't enough. I needed more." Marlon told her that she "broke [his] best friend's heart in the process", which is when Paddy walked in.
Asking for Marlon to leave the two alone, Paddy approached Chas and told her that he knew what she did to Aaron. He said: "You drove your own son out the village on the day of his sister's funeral to protect your lies."

But Chas told him that she "had no choice" as she "needed some time". But Paddy said that Aaron was left without his family around him, when he needed them most.
"My head was all over the place paddy, I didn't know where to turn", Chas replied. And Paddy said: "Except you did know where to turn didn't you, you turned to Al and now he's dead and you can say whatever you want because he can't argue back can he?"
Chas then said that she knew what she did was "unforgivable", which is when Paddy landed the final blow. In an emotional speech, he said: "Which part? Starting a new life? Taking my daughter away from me? I don't know who you are.
"Do you know where I stayed last night? I stayed with Grace. Remembering her, remembering us and what pain we went through, all the absolute devastation. Listen, there's no saving this, you're not coming out the other side if that's what you're clinging on to, you've made your choice.
"Let's not make it any more difficult than it already is, I'll ring a solicitor and we'll start divorce proceedings." He then began to bellow at Chas, adding: "And if you have a shred of dignity you won't stand in my way. And, by the way, I'm going for custody of Eve. Because, unlike you, I will never, ever let her down."
Fans cannot get enough of Paddy's reaction to Chas' betrayal, glad that she has finally got her comeuppance. @LisaBannocks said: "Good for you paddy".
@FairerCountry said: "Wow Paddy great emotional performance." @moaningoldsod said: "Well done Paddy. Leave her with nothing.."
@mayclare77 said: "Superb anger from Paddy there [clapping emoji] You've got to love Dom!" And @pinkladyxxxx said: "Paddy you absolute legend".
