Fans of Emmerdale were taken aback while watching tonight's episode.
The village's vicar, Charles Anderson, landed himself in hot water during a dramatic scene where he unleased a violent side and revealed a huge twist all within seconds. He is normally known for his good-hearted guidance but tonight he found himself in a police cell after attacking a barman.
It comes after Charles' son Ethan received a text from his mum, and Charles' ex partner, revealing his sister Naomi had gone missing. Since then, the dad was on a mission to find her - but she wasn't aware they were related.
