Emmerdale fans 'figure out' Priya Sharma twist ahead of ITV soap exit

Emmerdale fans have predicted a huge twist for Priya Sharma ahead of her exit.

The character, played by Fiona Wade, 43, announced in October that she would be leaving her role in the ITV soap after 11 years. It comes as she planned to pursue other acting opportunities away from the fictional village.

In this week's episodes viewers saw David Metcalfe panic as Priya announced she was leaving for a job in London. As a result he kidnapped their daughter, Amba, and disappeared.

It soon came to Priya's attention that her daughter and David were both missing and she decided to call the police to help track them down. But fans predicted that in a turn of events, Priya could leave Amba behind anyway.

One user on Twitter said: "I don't think Priya will take Amba. She'll decide to leave her with David." Another added: "You're probably right, if Amba isn't leaving Emmerdale, she'll end up with David, or Rishi..." A third said: "Amba yeah, after all that, Priya will decide to let her stay with him."

Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
