There was a distressing scenes warning for tonight's Emmerdale episode as Leyla's ongoing cocaine addiction culminated in her overdosing.
After a stressful time trying to get Callum off her back when she lost his stash, Leyla went home and took cocaine. Her husband Liam, who didn't know about her drug problem, found her on the floor when he arrived home with the empty bag on the table.
Leyla was rushed to hospital, where she remains as of the end of the episode. The whole village now knows about her overdose, including son Jacob, who is studying to be a doctor and was touring the hospital when she was brought in.
