Emmerdale fans have exposed a link between Caleb Milligan and Thomas King ahead of his explosive 'return'.
Thomas is said to be coming back to the Dales in a huge storyline set to air in the coming months, whilst Caleb arrived a few months ago and has been worming his way back into his brother Cain Dingle's life.
Viewers have been growing suspicious of Caleb's true intentions as it was revealed he has some big plans for Home Farm and was also seen making a shady phone call to an unknown person, with fans convinced he's out to get Cain.
Following the rumours of Thomas' return to the ITV soap, fans are now convinced he must have some link to Caleb. The businessman has been working with Kim Tate on a breeding programme for horses at Home Farm, and now fans are sure it must be linked to Thomas' return somehow as he leaves his uncle Jimmy shocked by his arrival.
One viewer suggested: "Now I get it! Calab is working for Carl King’s son Thomas to get Home Farm back."
Sources have claimed Thomas' return will be "explosive" - and his presence could cause "chaos".
Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed: "Tom’s return is going to be explosive. He shocks his uncle Jimmy when he returns to the village and it’s not clear why he’s back.
"Fans will be glued to their screens watching Tom’s comeback unfold - and his presence could cause chaos. They will all be asking if he’s as evil as his dad Carl and wondering why he’s returned."
Executive producer Jane Hudson has confirmed Caleb has a secret - but what is it and how will it all end?
Speaking in a video on the soap's YouTube page, Jane explained: "I think the other storyline that the viewers are absolutely going to love is Cain and Caleb. What's Caleb's involvement with Cain?
"Does he really want to be Cain's brother or has he got other ulterior motives? I think that's a fascinating dynamic to watch – and whenever we have Home Farm and the villagers coming together in a story, it's just not going to end well at all."
