Emmerdale viewers were left similarly distracted by a seeming blunder during the latest episode of the ITV soap, as Leyla Cavanagh was kidnapped by her former drug dealer in shock scenes.
ITV fans at home were nonplussed as to why nobody nearby came to her aid, after Leyla ran into Callum on a night out.
Leyla was inspired to try and dob him in it with the police – only for her plan to spectacularly backfire.
