Emmerdale fans have dubbed Kim Tate 'an icon' after the fierce villager took down villain Caleb.
On Wednesday (June 7) Emmerdale started by replaying the moment Gabby was left stunned after husband-to-be, Nicky, revealed he can't marry her because he is gay. While Emmerdale viewers have known for a while that Nicky has been sneaking around with Ally, it still broke their hearts watching Gabby discover the news.
But the bombshell announcement wasn't the only chaos that kicked off in the Emmerdale village during the 'wedding.'

Caleb found out about his son, Nicky, admitting his love for another man to Gabby and instantly went to confront him about messing up their secret plan to steal all of Kim Tate's money. He stormed into the stables where he found Nicky in tears for hurting Gabby and assaulted him in a state of fury.
Caleb threatened Nicky that he would have to act on the plan immediately and take all of Kim's money now - he said this would raise suspicion and that Nicky can't be trusted and would have to take the rap.
Nicky panicked and worried he would be arrested - Caleb told him he would need to run. Nicky said: "Dad I can't just..." but before he could finish the sentence Caleb pushed him to the floor stating: "You can just, and you will just, right?"
Emmerdale fans were furious after what had gone down, claiming that Caleb was the one who couldn't be trusted. @itzzzo_ said: "The irony of Caleb telling Nicky that he can't be trusted".

Kim said: "Every penny you wanted to take is hidden away in an account you are not getting access to." He tried to deny the accusations by asking "you been drinking champagne?", before brother Cain walked in and said: "You're not going anywhere."
Kim added: "I didn't call the police by the way, just Cain - and he knows everything." Emmerdale fans were overjoyed to see Kim and Cain had teamed up together to take down villain, Caleb. They took to Twitter to share their joy. @blue_laur11 said: "Kim and Cain knew about Caleb !! Yea"
