Emmerdale fans have hit out at "hypocrite" Amy Wyatt as she scolded Chloe Harris over her fling with Nate Robinson.
Chloe ended up staying over at Nate's last night after the pair met in the pub and hit it off, and whilst he was keen to get rid of her the morning after, Chloe wasn't worried about telling the world what happened.
As she returned home, Amy and Kerry Wyatt quizzed her on where she had been. She initially lied to say she was with a friend, but when Kerry said she had spoken to the friend and they had no idea where she was, she admitted she'd been with Nate.
The other two women grilled her on what happened, and urged her not to pursue anything with Nate, as Amy told her to "find someone her own age" as they criticised her for the age gap between the pair.
However, fans tuning into the ITV soap were quick to note that Amy had embarked on a brief romance with Cain when she was much younger herself and ended up pregnant with his baby, their son called Kyle.
Amy was just 17 when she gave birth to son Kyle, as Cain put pressure on her to have an abortion. However, she went through with the pregnancy and later rekindled her relationship with her son, despite initially giving him up for adoption.
Taking to Twitter, one fan fumed: " #Emmerdale Amy, the authority on dishing out advise on who to sleep with … hypocritical!"
"Short memories in emmerdale, Amy had to be dragged out from under cain #Emmerdale," another added, as a third shared: "Amy: ’Find someone your own age’. Says the girl who got pregnant by Cain when a teenager #emmerdale."
A fourth wrote: "Did she say to Nate, sleep with people his own age? Did she forget what happened with Cain? #Emmerdale."
Nate has only been back on the soap for a couple of days now, but his reappearance left fans questioning where the character has been since he last appeared in January. He had been missing from screens since Tracy Metcalfe exited the show earlier this year, when the actress went on maternity leave after welcoming her first child with EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith.
Fans were confused as Nate made his return, as it didn't appear that he was ever away from the village.
