The duo already once tied the knot in the late 90s, however their relationship did not last. Paddy discovered Mandy had been cheating with her sick father's nurse and promptly broke it off with her.
Mandy left the village but briefly returned in a bid to win him back. She permanently returned in 2019.
Fans are now speculating whether their romance could be rekindled, saying they would make a lovely couple. Taking to Twitter, they shared their support.
Laura wrote: "Yep, Paddy and Mandy will definitely get back together."
Allison Green gushed: "Loving Paddy and Mandy getting close again... get them back together, Chas was never right for him!"
Lauren Angela May commented: "I wish Paddy and Mandy would get back together."
Nicola said: "Paddy & Mandy need to he reunited."
It comes after numerous emotional episodes over the past few days, which are all part of the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations. A devastating storm has wreaked havoc across the village and claimed the lives of Liv Flaherty and Harriet Finch.
Police officer Harriet succumbed to her injuries after being flung down a ravine and crushed by the quad bike she was riding in the woods. After being found by Kim Tate, the bike was struck by a lightning bolt and the explosion caught Harriet in its wake.
However, back in the village, Liv died after being crushed under Sam and Lydia’s caravan. She and husband Vinny, who survived, had been trying to make their way to the Woolpack when the wind blew the vehicle in their direction.
Emergency services weren’t able to free her from the wreckage and she died with Vinny by her side outside David Metcalfe's shop.
