Emmerdale fans witnessed a kidnap and a wedding all in the space of 30 minutes as they tuned in to watch their first visit to the Dales of the week. Viewers of the ITV soap have been suspicious of Nate Robinson as he snuck around and claimed he'd be looking after his daughter, Frankie, for a long time.
As fans know, Nate's ex-fiancee Tracy Metcalfe left the village with their little girl to start a new job in Nottingham before meeting a new partner after Nate cheated on her. However, during Monday night's episode of Emmerdale (July 3), the pair were seen saying 'I do' in a surprise makeshift ceremony after an action-packed turn of events.
After hearing Nate was heading to the town hall, Moira and Cain Dingle feared he was about to fight for custody of his daughter after Nicola King put two and two together and assumed that's what was going on. Getting to the town hall, Moira and Cain saw a wedding dress-clad Tracy making her way up the steps and planting a kiss on another man's cheek.

Thinking they were trying the knot, Moira and Cain saw Nate with a suit in his car and sprung into action as they thought he was about to try and stop Tracy from marrying another man.
Cain grabbed Nate, knocked him unconscious, and threw him in the back of their van before he and Moira drove off back to the village. Awoken from his daze, a furious Nate asked why they had brought him back home. In no rush to explain the truth, Nate eventually told them it was his wedding day and if they had ruined it, he won't forgive them.
Maire and Cain were suitably stunned as they followed Nate towards the bus stop as he tried to get back to the town hall. However, as the bus pulled away, Tracy, still in her wedding dress, was standing in front of them with Frankie asking if he had jilted her.
It turns out, Nate and Tracy had been seeing each other in secret for a few months and didn't want anyone's interference when they became husband and wife - and the man Tracy kissed on the cheeky was a randomer she pulled off the street to be their witness on his lunch break.
As a way of apologising Cain tracked down the village's resident vicar Charles Anderson and he and Moira quickly put together a small ceremony for the happy couple in the church. However, it wasn't quite legal so Cain had to do the honours of pronouncing them as husband and wife before they had to do the legal paperwork at a later date.
But among all the action and surprises, Emmerdale fans pointed out what they believed to be a problem with Tracy and Nate's story. @aaron_dingles tweeted: "Nate has barely even been a character since Tracy left, he wasn't much of one before either but we're just meant to believe he and Tracy have been back on in secret and decided to get married... #emmerdale."
@Carol44698330 posted: "So, we've been seeing Nate moping about in the pub but somehow he's been spending time in another area rekindling his romance! #emmerdale." @natashate1983 shared: "So random Tracy and Nate trying to get married after apparently seeing each other two months ago." While @TwellyWatcher added: "It was NATE’S WEDDING DAY!? Tracy was marrying Nate in secret? didn’t see that coming #Emmerdale."
But some fans think that heartbreak could already be on the way as @happytrecker said: "Now it will come out that he is the father of Chloe's baby." It comes after fans continued to think that Mackenzie Boyd isn't the father of Chloe's son, Reuben, following their one-night stand last year.
