Emmerdale fans annoyed as 'wet wipe' character returns from the dead

It has been yet another episode of twists and drama as it was unveiled a huge character would be returning to Emmerdale.

In tonight’s episode, there were ongoing discussions about Meena’s upcoming trial, Nate and Chloe, and the christening which Kim and Gabby continue to clash on.

However, the real shock came at the end of the ITV soap after Gabby went to Millie who lives with her grandma Hazel to ask if she could come to the big family event.

After convincing Hazel to come to the christening with Millie, the grandma makes a call to Jamie, who everyone believed to be dead after his car plunged into a river after an accident last year.

In fact, at the time fans weren't happy at Jamie's low-key exit and were sure Jamie might still be back.

Fans of the soap revealed they knew he wasn’t dead and they are ready for the drama that could potentially come late this week.

One person said: “Uh-oh. He's back. The wet wipe. #Emmerdale.”

A second said: “How long before Millie says to Kim or gabby “I’ve been with my daddy or he will turn up at the church #Emmerdale”

A third said: “Millie is definitely gonna let slip that her dad is alive calling it now, or Jamie turns up at the christening tomorrow. #Emmerdale”

A fourth fan said: "Is Jamie Tate coming back?!! That's the return we get!! *with a face palm emoji*#Emmerdale"

While a fifth simply added: “Bring on more of the home farm drama tomorrow! Can’t wait! #Emmerdale”
