Emmerdale fans know their favourite programme has been disrupted this past week following the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Monarch died last Thursday at the age of 96 and the UK is currently in a period of mourning ahead of her state funeral on Monday, September 19. This momentous occasion has brought a major change to our TV schedules.
As a result, lots of our favourite TV programmes have been postponed with coverage disrupted. Emmerdale fans will know, very well, the last week’s coverage of the soap has been screened at random times.

Episodes have started finding their way on to the ITV Hub but fans have been far from impressed. Many have aired a number of complaints on Twitter.
One viewer @jadesharp1992 said: “The first episode is missing audio description and subtitles, and the second episode doesn’t play at all? Please can this be fixed?” We saw @ItsRyan_x post: “So we are missing Fridays, Mondays and Tuesdays episode, Todays half an hour will be Fridays! and still missing Mondays #Corrie #emmerdale.”
Another viewer @sharonharveyII said: “I thought the missing @emmerdale episode on Friday was a hr, yet tonight’s was only half again. Can anyone explain the loss of the hr one?”
We’ll keep you posted of any further disruption to Emmerdale’s scheduling caused by the coverage of the Queen’s death.
