Emmerdale teased a double exit could be on the cards, amid Cain Dingle's prison turmoil.
Just days ago a shocking bombshell saw Cain's young son Kyle, aged 10, revealed to be Al Chapman's real killer.
Now, it seems he's keen for Kyle to leave the village for good with his mum Amy Wyatt, after Kyle told her what he did.
Scenes in the latest episode saw Amy struggling with the fact her child had accidentally shot and killed Al, the partner of her mother Kerry Wyatt.
Amy was so troubled she went to see Cain in prison, and soon spilled that she was now in on the dark secret.
Cain was horrified that after taking the blame for his son, Kyle had now confessed his crime.
After securing Amy's silence, Cain begged her to run away with Kyle while they still could, leaving her stunned.
As she returned to Cain's house, she told his wife Moira she knew all about Kyle and had been to see Cain.
Amy now knew that Moira also knew the truth, after she was told by Cain in a recent episode.
It's then that Amy warned Moira about his plea for her to run away with Kyle, hinting she would be doing just that.
As Amy returned later with Kyle after picking him up from school, Moira was relieved to see they were still there.
Moira did her best to reassure Amy that Kyle was better off staying at the house with her, and running away would be a bad idea.
Amy seemed to be won around by Moira's vow to stand by her and her plan to keep Kyle's secret under wraps.
As the moment ended the women hugged it out, while Amy pulled a face that suggested she was still contemplating leaving.
Now, viewers are convinced two characters could exit - but while some guessed it would be Amy and Kyle, others thought Kerry might do a runner instead and take her grandson with her.
One viewer said: "Prediction Kerry goes on the run with Kyle potentially in order to stop him accidentally telling anyone else the real truth?"
Another agreed: "Aha! Kerry (actress) is on maternity leave… is her exit going to be doing a runner with Kyle?"
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
