Emmerdale bosses have left viewers fuming after Sandra’s ‘evil’ plan to split Liv and Vinny up eventually worked.
Sandra has been planning to split up the married couple ever since she returned to the village so that she can cash in on her daughter's money.
During tonight's episode Sandra proved that she would do anything she could to separate the pair as she jumped at the opportunity to switch Liv’s drink to an alcoholic one in The Woolpack which created tension between Liv and Vinny.

As Liv took a sip, she was left horrified to discover it was alcohol and the pair blamed Bob for the ‘mistake.’ Liv is worried that the door to her alcoholism has been opened however Sandra is thrilled as she continues to stir the situation.
She told Liv she would keep it a secret but she later told Vinny what had happened, asking him to not let Liv know she was the one who told him.
However later on Vinny started looking at support groups to help Liv with her drinking which caused a row between the pair.
Liv assured him that she didn’t want to drink but said his behaviour would make her want to. Sandra looked smug as the pair went at each other especially after Liv told her husband: “Maybe everybody was right, this was never going to work, we’re both in denial, aren’t we?” before storming out.
Viewers of the ITV soap slammed Emmerdale writers as they demanded the show to get rid of Sandra’s storyline after causing problems for Liv.
@riacann Tweeted: “Whoever is writing the Sandra character, just stop! #emmerdale.” @LeedSTUnited wrote: “Whoever is writing the scripts, should be sacked. This vile woman. Also why are all the residents thick in the village. It’s a joke! #Emmerdale.”
@TVMusings22 said: “Sandra is evil who does this s*** to their own kid #emmerdale.” @Chestikov69 commented: “No Liv the problem is behind you , your fecking Mother #Emmerdale.” While @Rachel_IRL added: “ I actually found that a difficult episode to watch. That a parent could be so malicious.”
