Emmerdale boss confirms Caleb Milligan is hiding a sinister secret but dismisses one prominent fan theory

Emmerdale’s Caleb Milligan is hiding a major secret which fans will have to unpick.

This is according to Emmerdale executive producer Jane Hudson. She made the revelation about the long-lost member of the Dingle Clan during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women.

Jane said a theory that Caleb, played by Will Ash, is an undercover copper are wide of the mark. Jane explained: “I can tell you he’s not an undercover cop. Coronation Street recently did that story brilliantly with Spider so we’re not going to copy it.”

Jane did tease Emmerdale fans that there is a secret Caleb is hiding which is waiting to be unearthed. Jane added: “There is a secret about Caleb and viewers have not guessed it.”

On Friday evening, Emmerdale viewers saw Caleb talking on the phone to an unidentified person. It has been suggested it could be Jaime Tate.

As Emmerdale fans know, Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, disappeared in 2021 with villagers fearing he died after he crashed into a lake while driving. The character is in fact alive unbeknownst to villagers.
