Emmerdale is due to air a heartbreaking departure in the coming week as a fan-favourite leaves the ITV soap.
Residents of the village will wave off Marshall Hamston after a tough few months for the character - ultimately leaving his love interest Arthur Thomas devastated.
Following Arthur's revelation to his loved ones about his sexuality last year, he soon found himself helping his friend with his own sexuality.
