Emmerdale aired a powerful clip featuring actress Daisy Campbell following Tuesday night's heartbreaking episode.
Viewers watched as 15-year-old Amelia discovered that she was pregnant with an unknown teen boy's child.
Amelia visited the hospital alone as the doctor told her the news of her pregnancy and questioned her on who the father was.
She declined to reveal the identity and decided on having an abortion.
Later, the religious teen was seen praying to god in church as she said that "no one" could help her.
After the episode aired, a 60-second clip saw actress Daisy address the "difficult subject of abortion".
The new campaign for ITV and STV's Britain Get Talking explores the gap between what we say and how we feel, encouraging the audience to break through to one another through conversation.
She said: “Almost half of all young people in the UK struggle with anxiety. So, whether you’re a teen or an adult, let’s all take a moment to reach out to each other, just to say – we’re here.”
Britain Get Talking is supported by Mind and YoungMinds, and by SAMH in Scotland, to encourage people to look after their mental health by connecting with others.
Created with Uncommon Creative Studio, it originally launched in 2019 by pausing the live broadcast of Britain’s Got Talent, and then as lockdown beckoned, Ant and Dec invited the nation to send their messages of support for broadcast and to stay in touch with the message that we’re ‘apart, but never alone.’
Fans have been speculating over the identity of the person Amelia slept with and, while initially believing it to be Noah, now reckon it could be Heath.
One viewer tweeted: "Okay - Noah’s not ‘a teenager’ so that puts him out the picture slightly. Only possible people right now are Samson or Heath."
Another agreed: "i’m saying either Heath or Arthur is the dad and i’m leaning way more towards Heath."
