Emmerdale 's Al Chapman makes quite the sacrifice of sorts next week, as he's forced to choose between helping his injured partner Kerry Wyatt, and his injured fling Chas Dingle during the storm.
A windstorm leaves lives on the line in the village during the soap's 50th anniversary episodes, with death and destruction confirmed.
New spoilers reveal both Kerry and Chas are injured in the village by debris, leaving both of them on the floor.
Al witnesses both incidents and is forced to decide who to run to and help while the raging storm continues, leaving lives on the line.
In a shocking twist, Al will ditch Kerry who is lying on the ground and hurt, and instead he will rush to the aid of his secret lover Chas.
Pictures show the moment he pulls Chas off the ground and tends to her, attempting to get her to safety - all the while knowing his girlfriend Kerry is injured just yards away.
Kerry manages to get herself off the floor, and watches on in shock as her partner leaves her and helps Chas instead.
This could be the moment Kerry finally finds out about her partner's betrayal, after months of him cheating on her.
While both women are injured they don't seem to be harmed seriously, while this could obviously change as the storm gets stronger.
So will Al live to regret so obviously choosing Chas over Kerry, or will he be able to get himself out of his latest mess?
Spoilers remain coy over what happens next and if all three of them make it out alive.
It also isn't known if Kerry does rumble the truth, and if Chas' partner Paddy also finds out what has happened.
What is known is that Paddy gets the news that Chas is in hospital, and he soon informs her son Aaron of what has happened.
Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out what goes down and whether Chas and Al's secret is finally out.
