Emmerdale villain Sandra Flaherty targets Vinny Dingle next week on the ITV soap, amid her cruel plan against her own daughter Liv.
Ahead of the return of Liv's brother Aaron Dingle later this year, the character is set for heartache it seems due to her mum's meddling.
Not only is Sandra targeting Liv, seeming to want to steal all her money, but she's also trying to tear apart her marriage to Vinny in the process.
Fresh from trying to make Liv believe there could be something going on between her husband and her best friend Gabby Thomas, Sandra also tried to put doubts in her daughter's mind over her asexuality.
Next week, she continues to try and drive the couple apart, and to distance Liv from one of her closest pals.
It would seem Sandra is desperate to isolate Liv, amid her desperate attempts to get some cash. Viewers are convinced Sandra will try to fleece Liv for all of her money, and that she might be successful - but they're hopeful Vinny's mother Mandy will work it all out.
Perhaps Aaron could be the one to expose Sandra, as he returns to the ITV soap in October. Aaron, Diane Sugden and Tracy Metcalfe will all make a brief return for storylines later this year, with a "huge" story ahead for one of the three.
It's said the returns will all be part of unfolding storylines, and their arrivals and what they have to say will impact those around them. Danny Miller quit the soap as Aaron last year, but bosses have confirmed he will be back - and could find himself embroiled in two key storylines.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, producers Jane Hudson and Kate Brooks spilled on the returns and what it would mean for the villagers. Kate spilled: "We have the return of some very familiar faces to the Dales with Diane, Aaron, and Tracy. They will all be making a reappearance, albeit on a temporary basis, but they will come back.
"They'll be at the heart of some really big stories that will impact their lives, and not just their lives, but the lives of the characters they leave behind. So it's all really exciting, and it's all brilliant." Jane went on: "So obviously we've got Diane, we've got Tracy, who's coming back with a bit of news of her own. So how's Nate going to respond to that?
"And of course, Aaron's back. Is Aaron gonna find out his mum's cheating on Paddy, who he sees as a father? Is he going to discover that Sandra's not all about Liv? So there's a huge story happening over there."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
