Emma Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos are continuing their successful collaboration with a new project on the horizon. Stone, known for her role in Poor Things, is in talks to join Lanthimos in his upcoming film Save the Green Planet!, a remake of the 2003 South Korean comedy. The Greek filmmaker is set to start shooting this summer in the U.K. and New York, with Stone likely taking on a supporting role.
Save the Green Planet! follows the story of a disillusioned young man who captures and tortures a businessman he believes is part of an alien invasion. The film promises a battle of wits involving the captor, his girlfriend, the businessman, and a private detective.
