Chelsea women's manager Emma Hayes has publicly expressed regret for her recent comments regarding player relationships within the team. Hayes, who is set to take over as coach of the U.S. women's national team, admitted that she was wrong to label player-to-player relationships as 'inappropriate.'

During a press conference, Hayes initially stated that such relationships could pose challenges for management, including player-coach relationships. However, following backlash and player reactions, Hayes clarified her stance, emphasizing that she did not intend to criticize any individuals within the team.
