Eminem fans were getting excited on Monday at the prospect the rapper was set to link up once again with Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre.
Slim Shady, 49, took to Twitter to share a snap of the trio, captioning the post: "Just a few bros.. hangin out." The rap royalty were seen in the snap standing in front of a mixing board inside someone’s home studio.
It sent some of Eminem's 22.7 million followers into meltdown with the idea that there could be new music on the horizon. The trio have previously teamed up on Dr Dre’s 1999 album, 2001, which was a sequel to The Chronic.
Eminem has also appeared on "What’s The Difference" and "Forgot About Dre," while Snoop has been on a number of records, such as Still D.R.E. and The Next Episode. They all also appeared on the Super Bowl half-time show in February alongside Mary J Blige, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar.
One fan took to the star's latest post and wrote: "He listened and the way he said they’re just “hangin out” makes me think there’s something big they’re up to."
Another had a similar idea a tweeted: "Making some new music," with a third adding: "Yo Eminem and I really hope u are dre Dr new album coming out this year and I really hope u have dre Dr and Snoop Dogg on your new album with all new songs with new features and new music u be making @Eminem."
A fourth said: "So good to see you Em and with such legends: iconic pic!," while a another agreed and commented: "What a group of legends #Eminem #DrDre #SnoopDogg."
It's not the first teaser Eminem has dropped about his link up, either. Earlier in the month he told ET he and Dre were indeed working on new music, saying: "We’re cooking up a little something. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again.
"It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doing something, we’re working on something."
