Award-winning journalist Emily Maitlis recently opened up about her feelings regarding actress Gillian Anderson portraying her in the upcoming Netflix drama based on the Prince Andrew interview. Maitlis made history in 2019 with her groundbreaking interview for the BBC's Newsnight, where she questioned the Duke of York about his association with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
During the interview, Maitlis asked Prince Andrew about the allegations he faced, which he vehemently denied. One of the allegations, made by alleged victim Virginia Giuffre, claimed that the prince had been sweating profusely while dancing with her in a nightclub. In response, Prince Andrew astonishingly claimed that he couldn't sweat due to a high dose of adrenaline from his experiences in the Falklands War.
