Emily Atack gave fans a glimpse of something they sadly will never be able to see in real life – herself in a stunning Stella McCartney designer dress.
The 32-year-old TV actress had planned to wear the extravagant gown – complete with intricate floral details and a dramatic fishtail finish – to tomorrow night’s Brit Awards.
However, Emily confessed the outfit had to be rejected as it wasn’t the right fit for her curvy body – but she still wanted to show fans how fantastic she looked in it anyway.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Emily showed herself posing in the low-cut top as she tried on the decadent evening gown before admitted she won’t be wearing on Tuesday night's red carpet.
She wrote alongside the image: “Had a fitting for the Brits and sadly can’t wear this because of my chunky bum but wanted to show it off.”
Perhaps fearing attack from cruel online trolls, Emily hastily added: “Soz for messy bedroom,” alongside a widely smiling face emoji.
Fans jaws could be heard dropping as they took to the comments section to marvel at her dress – and urged her to reconsider.
One impressed fan wrote: “Are you being serious… wear it you look amazing,” alongside a string of flame emojis.
While many others declared her outfit: “Stunning”, “beautiful”, and “amazing.”
Last week, Emily delighted fans by confirming her hit ITV comedy sketch show, The Emily Atack Show, will be returning for another season.
Taking to Instagram last week, she declared: “Once, twice, three times an inappropriate lady! THE EMILY ATACK SHOW SEASON THREE IS COMING.”
ITV also confirmed the news, declaring on their Press Centre: “The Emily Atack Show, produced by Universal International Studios’ Monkey, is back for 6 x 45” episodes.
“Once again, Emily will be unleashing her own uniquely personal comedy and treating viewers to even more uncanny impressions, mischievous sketches and comedic skits.”
The new series is expected to his the air at some point in 2022 following the success of the 2020 debut series and the follow up second series released last year.
Fans were again quick to tell Emily how excited they were about the new series.
Fellow TV babe, Stacey Dooley, reacted to the news on Instagram by posting a single flame emoji in response.
While one fan commented: “Of courseeeeeeeeee it is! Congratulations doll!” and another gushed: “Can't wait to see it,” alongside applauding hands and red heart emojis.
Fans can probably expect to see more of Emily in 2022 than ever before as she previously hinted that there would be multiple projects being announced – not just the return of her hit ITV show.
She noted in an Instagram post last week: “I’ve got amazing announcements to make this week, and I’ve had two weeks of freedom to get myself together, move into my new home, and surround myself with the people and the things that make me happy.”
