Emily Andre has shared a sweet insight into married life with Peter Andre, as they prepare to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary just weeks after being dragged into the Wagatha scandal.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, who had his manhood described as a "chipolata" during the recent Wagatha Christie libel trial, makes his 32-year-old wife laugh every day, which she claims is the best tonic for a happy marriage.
The couple have been together for 10 years, and tied the knot in 2015 in a lavish ceremony, surrounded by family and friends, at Mamhead House in Exeter.
Gearing up for their seventh wedding anniversary in July, Emily said they “still make each other laugh” and recently enjoyed spending some quality alone time together.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the NHS doctor said she and Pete managed to have some rare free time together, as the singer is currently starring in the West End musical Grease, and they celebrated his birthday at a luxury hotel.
“We also made the most of him [Pete] having some free time between Grease shows and went to Alexander House hotel for his belated birthday present,” she shared.
“It’s near where we used to live, so we used to go all the time and it’s really relaxing for us. We had such a lovely time – massages in the spa and an amazing tasting menu for dinner,” Emily revealed.
She said they talked non-stop for “three hours”, and “chatted the whole time” throughout their date night.
“Luckily, we still make each other laugh after all these years!” she added.
The couple share two children together - Amelia, 8, and Theo, 5 - and Pete is also dad to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, with ex-wife Katie Price.
Her sweet confession about their married life comes just days after Pete was left humiliated in court, as Rebekah Vardy shared details of her sexual encounter with the singer during her testimony.
Discussing her 2004 kiss-and-tell expose in the News of the World - which carried the headline “Peter's hung like a small chipolata, shaved, slobbery, lasts five minutes” - Rebekah said she “deeply regretted” selling her story.
In a video posted on social media, Pete said he has been the “butt of all jokes” for 15 years.
