Emergency warning downgraded for bushfire burning in Port Kennedy, south of Perth

Authorities have downgraded the alert level for a bushfire that burned dangerously close to homes south of Perth on Thursday.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued an emergency alert for the fire, which was in the southern of suburb of Port Kennedy in the City of Rockingham, at 10:30am.
