Emergency Alert Issued for Missing 14-Year-Old Girl London Randall in Birmingham

London Randall (ALEA)

Authorities in Alabama are asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old London Randall, who has been reported missing and is believed to be in danger.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert on Tuesday, February 24, after Randall was not located following her disappearance last week.

According to officials, Randall was last seen on February 20, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the area of Tracy Lane in Birmingham. Investigators have not shared additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, but emphasised the urgency of the situation.

Randall is described as a Black female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. She has brown hair and black eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a green jacket, grey sweatpants, and purple shoes.

Law enforcement officials say they are actively working the case and following up on leads. The Emergency Missing Child Alert indicates that authorities believe the teen may be at risk, though specific details about potential danger have not been released.

Community members in Birmingham and surrounding areas are being urged to remain vigilant and report any information that could help locate Randall. Officials stress that even small details could be significant in helping bring her home safely.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency coordinates closely with local law enforcement departments when a child is reported missing under circumstances that suggest possible danger. Emergency alerts are typically issued when officials determine there is a credible threat to the child’s safety or well-being.

Anyone who may have seen London Randall or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office or local law enforcement immediately.

As the search continues, authorities are hopeful that increased public awareness will lead to new information. Friends, family members and investigators are asking the community to share the alert widely to help expand the search effort.

Officials have not released additional updates at this time, but say they will provide more information as it becomes available.
