Elton John and Taron Egerton reunite for music icon's 79th birthday

Sir Elton John celebrated his 79th birthday with a special reunion, sharing a lunch with Rocketman star Taron Egerton in what he described as a “brilliant birthday surprise”.

The music legend posted a smiling snap of the pair on social media on Wednesday, marking the occasion with the actor who famously portrayed him in the 2019 biopic. The two have remained close since the film’s release.
