A murder investigation has been launched after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Eltham, south London where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing at 5.11pm this evening and attended with London Ambulance Service paramedics.
They found a man, believed to be in his early 20s, with stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene and taken to an east London hospital, where he lost his life.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed and are leading the investigation.
At this early stage there have been no arrests but an investigation is under way.
A crime scene is in place at the scene of the incident.
Footage taken at the scene shows a number of emergency vehicles parked across from the community centre.
