A new playable character is set to be added to the roster of Guilty Gear -Strive- for Season 3. Players can also look forward to a new game mode to try out. Then there's the free update which introduces battle balance adjustments.
Let's start off with the new playable character who is Elphelt Valentine.
Created by the Universal Will, Elphelt crashes onto the scene with the ability to overwhelm enemies through her mass arsenal of mix-up tools. Her love for nature and animals results in her not being able to bear seeing anyone alone. However, the way she dives head-first into solving a problem has her take the lead with impenetrable optimism.
After her fight with the Universal Will, she has since assumed a position within Illyria Castle. It's one where she tries and struggles to keep up with the work in a confident manner. While no one blames her for making mistakes, it continues to weigh on her after which she runs off. Throughout her journey she wants to bring smiles to everyone and she later finds that it can be in the form of a microphone. This is why her band the "Speothos Venaticus" continues to be popular.
What make this character both interesting and exciting is that it's easy to pick up and play. That said, Elphelt is available to those who already have the Season Pass 3. She can be purchases as an individual character for $6.99.
New Game Mode
Beginning 2024, the game is offering a new three-player online versus mode. Dubbed as "Team of 3," if has two teams go against one another in the same match. More information on this mode is set to be revealed next year.
New Update
A new update has been released for the game which introduces battle balance adjustments. In addition, it also adds new special moves for the characters Axl Low and Potemkin. Read more about the update here.
