Elon Musk and his America PAC have moved to settle two fraud lawsuits over a controversial $1 million (£750,000) election giveaway, after a lawyer for the group admitted in court that winners were 'not chosen by chance'.

The proposed agreements have revived scrutiny of a promotion that was marketed as a random draw for registered voters in key US battleground states.
