Elon Musk Says Tesla Will Expand Giga Shanghai But No New Plant Planned In China

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk said on Tuesday that the electric vehicle maker would expand its Giga Shanghai factory but has no plans to launch any new plants in China.

What Happened: The billionaire entrepreneur, speaking remotely at the Financial Times “Future of the Car” conference, said Tesla was focusing on ramping up production at its newly opened Giga Berlin and Giga Texas factories.
