Elon Musk says Russia has so far failed to hack his SpaceX Starlink satellite internet service - but warns Putin's regime is "ramping up" its efforts.
Sharing an article about how " Russia downed satellite internet in Ukraine" by hacking communications company Viasat, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Musk tweeted: "Starlink has resisted Russian cyberwar jamming & hacking attempts so far, but they’re ramping up their efforts."
It comes after the UK, US and EU have publicly blamed Russia for the cyberattack on Viasat that hit civilian internet users in Ukraine and central Europe. The Viasat attack came an hour before Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The attack was aimed at the Ukrainian military but hit civilian internet users in Ukraine and central Europe.
